Victor Omale is an environmental advocate and sustainability leader from Lokoja, Kogi State, Nigeria. A graduate of Industrial Chemistry from Kogi State University, he is passionate about tackling plastic pollution, promoting recycling, and empowering young people to lead sustainable change.


As a One Million Leaders Africa (OMLA) Fellow, Victor founded the Youth-led Plastic Waste Recycling and Upcycling Initiative, which trained local youth to turn plastic waste into useful products like stools, bins, and pencil holders. The project earned him the Highly Impactful Project Award and grant awards for the scaling of the initiative.


He also participated in the Young Innovation Leaders (YIL) Fellowship 2024, where he strengthened his innovation and leadership skills. Victor promotes green farming, composting, and school feeding.


Victor’s research interests include environmental management, sustainability, and climate change adaptation.
